Services

Comprehensive Assessments

Your initial appointment will include a full body assessment of your mobility, strength, nervous system and functional mechanics to gain greater insight into the injury or complaint.

Education and Planning

Following your assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss the issue and what to expect in your rehabilitation journey.

Manual Therapy

Depending on the issue, your physiotherapist may utilize hands-on techniques like joint, muscle or skin mobilization.

Dry Needling

Dry-Needling or Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is a technique used to disrupt small bands in muscle tissue to aid in improving body mechanics and reducing pain.

Exercise Prescription

Your session will include a targeted exercise program for you to complete at home.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)

An acoustic wave treatment that transmits energy to an area of concern, by transmitting a peak pressure nearly 1000x greater than an ultrasound wave. ESWT can be an effective tool for jump-starting the healing process, decreasing pain, and stimulating the body to repair and regenerate tissues. Some injuries that may be appropriate for ESWT include tendonitis/tendonalgia, calcifications, bursitis, plantar fasciitis/heel spurs, carpal tunnel, De Quarvains Tenosynovitis, arthritis, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, patellar tendonitis, muscle trigger points, and more!
