DANIELA
Daniela was born and raised in the small community of Rock Creek in southern BC and has made Prince George her new home since completing both her undergraduate degree and Master of Physical Therapy at UNBC. Her love for movement and exercise comes from her involvement in high school sports, varsity soccer, community athletics, and a wide range of outdoor activities. One of her favourite aspects of these activities is the meaningful connections they create.
She first developed a passion for physiotherapy after experiencing its positive impact in her own life — helping her return to the activities she loves and improving her overall sense of well-being. Her goal is to support others in improving their function so they can participate in the activities that matter most to them, whether that’s formal exercise, sports, recreational pursuits, work, hobbies, or daily tasks at home and in the community.
She aims to create a safe space for clients by listening to their thoughts and wishes and by partnering with them in developing their treatment plans. She believes treatment plans need to be meaningful and attainable for the person they are created for in order to be effective.
Daniela also values a holistic approach to care, recognizing that many aspects of a person’s life influence their health and well-being. She is committed to working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive the most comprehensive care possible.
